The second season of The CW's Arrow began production today, and we now have an impressive casting announcement for the DC Comics television series. According to TV Line, fan-favorite actress Summer Glau (best known for her roles in Firefly, Serenity and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) has been tapped to fill a recurring role for the upcoming season. She will play Isabel Rochev, who is described as "the beautiful and dangerous Vice President of Aquisitions for Stellmoor International, a company looking to take over Queen Consolidated. Per DC lore, Isabel fancies herself a bit of a rightful heir to the Queen family business, and as such she will be eager to get Ollie out of her way." The character was previously referenced on the show as her name was on Robert Queen's "list".

Arrow season two premieres on The CW Wednesday, October 9th. The show will also be present at San Diego Comic-Con next week. What do you think of this casting choice?
