He's a hell of a lot smarter than people give him credit for and he's right about the lack of good superhero comedies, Spiderman should've broken that streak.

Why not just make the next Batman film a comedy too? Rogen has made a mockery of the Green Hornet.

I don't have a problem with comedy in a CBM. But does it have to be "dumbf**k" comedy? Iron Man proved that the hero can be funny without being stupid.

What m2prod said. I don't mind some comedy in a Superhero movie, but turning Britt Reid into the dork that Rogen portrays him as is a whole different story. Very sad.

If they want to make a comedy Superhero film, then find a Superhero that is based in comedy to make that movie about. The Green Hornet was never a comedy so I hope it fails miserably at the box office just to teach the idiots in production a lesson in not fraking with other peoples creations!

For the love of god you people need to relax. Have any of you seen the trailers that have ran on TV? None of those indicate that they aren't taking this seriously.

movie looks great can wait to see it.

CBArtist- nope he hasn't the movie looks great with comedy and action cause thats what people like to see more know and days and thats how the show was to.

I've seen this film in a screening. The Tv show had a more serious tone than this film. And the TV show shouldn't be any more of a reference for the Green Hornet than the Adam West Batman should for the modern Batman films.
The green Hornet was around in Radio, books, and film for 30 years before the campy TV show.
