Ooga-Chaka, Ooga Chaka, what a 24 hours it's been for fans of Guardians of the Galaxy! Following the release of an extended TV spot, a poster, and then a shorter version with extra footage, Marvel has now debuted a batch of hi-res images from the sequel. Most are essentially trailer screengrabs, but there are some new shots in here, specifically those featuring the golden Ayesha and her people. 

There's also plenty of Baby Groot, a stunning shot of the team assembled, along with fresh shots of characters like Star-Lord, Nebula, and Rocket Raccoon. From a visual standpoint, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 looks downright incredible, and any one of these images will make for a great wallpaper on your computer or phone. Personally, I'm going for the shot below of Rocket and Groot together...

Starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Kurt Russell, the movie will be released on May 5th.

I think the problem with Ayesha is her throne is the exact same color as her. No contrast. I bet when she steps away from it she will look a lot better. Hopefully she steps out of that room. Cause it's ugly as shit. Even gold light reflecting off the Guardians.

@WYLEEJAY - Lol yeah i think it was Gunn who stated it, but these guys are uptight and pompous. But if her Lego is any indication she'll be wearing blue armor. I think it serves the narrative excellent because one look at these guys and their arrogance is immediately communicated. I can't wait to see how the Guardians react. Lord knows Rockets going to be stealing whatever he can.

I always thought Ayesha's look in the comics was lame. Her MCU version is better!

I can't wait to see how deep the cosmic weirdness goes on this one!
