The highly anticipated follow up to Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz is finally making some significant progress. After it was announced recently that the film would start production in the coming months, after a lengthy time between instalments (with Hot Fuzz coming out in 2007), we finally have visual confirmation of this fact.

Set during an epic pub crawl the film, as far as we can tell by the title, deals with The World's End. The movie is expected to be released later next year and if production is speedy then it leaves most of 2013 free for director Edgar Wright to work on Ant-Man for Marvel Studios.

The images appear to show a flashback or earlier time frame with younger versions of the characters.
