JUSTICE LEAGUE DOOM: West Coast Premiere

Warner Home Video, Los Angeles Times and The Paley Center for Media have announced the February 16, 2012 West Coast premiere of Justice League: Doom. Filmmakers and members of the voice cast will attend the event for red carpet media interviews and a post-screening panel discussion.

A limited number of free tickets are available for the general public. Fans in the Los Angeles City area wishing to receive free tickets to the LA event on Feb. 16 must RSVP via email to [email protected]. Email RSVPs must include the fan’s first and last name, and a valid email address.

Tickets to the event will be distributed on a “first come, first served” basis. Los Angeles Times will also be giving away special seating for the event to a number of lucky Hero Complex readers.

Justice League: Doom finds Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Cyborg and Batman on their heels when a team of super villains discover and implement the Dark Knight’s “contingency plans” for stopping any rogue Justice League member. The story is inspired by Mark Waid’s much-heralded “JLA: Tower of Babel.”

The film features the voices of Nathan Fillion (Castle) as Green Lantern, Tim Daly (Private Practice) as Superman, and a grand reunion of actors who provided the voices of the Justice League for the cartoon of the same name and its follow-up, Justice League Unlimited, including Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series) as Batman, Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville, Breaking In) as Flash, Susan Eisenberg (Superman/Batman: Apocalypse) as Wonder Woman and Carl Lumbly (Alias) as J’onn J’onzz/Martian Manhunter. Bumper Robinson (A Different World, Transformers: Animated) joins the cast as Cyborg. The cast features three villainous alumni of the Justice League animated series: Phil Morris (Smallville, Seinfeld) as Vandal Savage, Olivia d’Abo (The Wonder Years) as Star Sapphire, and Alexis Denisof (Angel) as Mirror Master. Also opposing our heroes are Carlos Alazraqui (Reno 911) as Bane, Paul Blackthorne (The Dresden Files) as Metallo, and Claudia Black (Farscape, Stargate SG-1) as Cheetah. David Kaufman (Danny Phantom) also reprises his Justice League role of Jimmy Olsen.

The filmmaking team includes executive producer by Bruce Timm, director Lauren Montgomery, producer Alan Burnett and dialogue/casting director Andrea Romano. Justice League: Doom is the final DC Universe film script from the late Dwayne McDuffie.

Voice cast members and filmmakers will be announced as confirmed for the event. The Paley Center for Media is located at 465 North Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills.

Produced by Warner Premiere, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation, the all-new Justice League: Doom arrives February 28, 2012 from Warner Home Video as a Blu-Ray™ Combo Pack and DVD, On Demand and for Download. Both the Blu-Ray™ Combo Pack and DVD will include an UltraViiolet™ Digital Copy.

dc has yet to really let me down with the animated films. I think Batman year one was probably my least favorite, but it isn't really saying anything, it was still very good. It just didn't have any big name villains or anything to crazy going on in it, but i knew it wouldn't because the year one comic didn't have anything like that either. This one should be awesome and then they are going to make dark knight returns.

I am so for this! I've liked all of their films so far, even the lackluster ones were decent. This looks to be epic.

@BatlSlam - Year One comic had no villains, Gotham
city was essentially the villain, they adapted the graphic novel perfectly and told Frank Miller's Story

Awsome I remember walking around at Wal-Mart years ago and seeing Superman Doomsday and being all " what's this all about?" Since then I've bought every DC animated movie release at midnite or next day !!!!!!!!!!

My prediction this will do exta well on account of bringing back old voice cast. Look at the numbers.

BRUCE ANDREA and everyone else thankyou !!!!

I get the feeling that Cyborg will be incorporated into every incarnation of the JL from this point on.

I like that they are being back with TMS animation. I still think the whole legion of doom hideout is bit....empty, shouldn't the legion feature a broader amount of villains that were thwarted by the various heroes. Wouldn't three from each hero be better, making the stakes that much bigger. I will check it out once it comes out. They keep getting better and better, hopefully they will expand movies to being more than just Batman, Superman, and Justice League movies.

he loses his power when he is esposed to kryptonite. the big flaw is him accomplishing super feats with a bullet in him. The bullet i get because he cant touch it without burning himself and when is power is gone he cant doge bullets. plus he is superman he never dodges bullets he just lets them bounce off him. he has no fear when he see's a gun.

It's still funny to me that Bane is voiced by Sgt. Garcia from Reno 911....

@KNIGHT3000
Wow you're an idiot. Being near a piece of Kryptonite automatically weakens him. So having a bullet made of kryptonite shot at him from five feet away will definately weaken him milliseconds before he even has a chance to run away because being in that close proximity of Kryptonite, no matter what size, will just zap whatever strength or power that he has away immediately.
