First Official KICK-ASS 2 Image Features Jim Carrey & Aaron Taylor-Johnson

In the action-comedy sequel Kick-Ass 2 (out June 28), the eponymous hero (Aaron Taylor-Johnson, right) joins a superhero team called Justice Forever, led by Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey, left). Chloe Grace Moretz reprises her role as Mindy, but has "given up Hit Girl and is trying to be a normal teenage," says Jeff Wadlow, who picks up the directing reigns from Matthew Vaughn. - Entertainment Weekly

KICK-ASS 2 based on the comic book created by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. and is being directed by Jeff Wadlow. The film stars Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Moretz, Jim Carrey, Lyndsy Fonseca, Yancy Butler, Donald Faison, John Leguizamo, Lindy Booth, Olga Kurkulina, and Nicolas Cage makes a cameo. The film hits domestic theaters on June 28, 2013 and in UK theaters July 19, 2013.
