MEN IN BLACK Spin-Off / Reboot Set To Start Shooting In London This June

Here come the Men in Black...again. We had previously heard that a new MEN IN BLACK film was on the horizon, but it seems that it's coming a lot sooner than we thought.

While it's unclear at this time whether SONY's new Men in Black property will serve as a reboot to the series, or simply be a spin-off reinvention similar to last year's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, what we do know,  is that it's coming sooner rather than later.

According to Omega Underground the film will officially start shooting on 18th June in London, with the hopes to still make the film's June 14th 2019 release date. This of course means that the film has just under a year to wrap the whole production and hit theatres.

There's no word yet on the creative team behind the film, or indeed who will suit up and don the black glasses of the eponymous alien police force. Though recent rumours seemed to indicate that Thor actor Chris Hemsworth was being sought by the studio to lead the film, alongside a woman of colour. With a shooting date so close, we'll be sure to find out soon enough.

What do you think? Are you excited for new Men in Black? Would you like to see Hemsworth star? And would you like to see a new Will Smith rap even though he's no longer a part of it? Leave your thoughts below.
