SDCC 2013: HASBRO to Rebrand Marvel Universe Toy Line as 'AVENGERS' Line

Every year Hasbro puts together a fantastic 3 3/4-inch Marvel Universe action figure display. Some are older figures while others are newer and then some 6-inch and Build-A-Figures are mixed in to give some scale to the action scenes on display.

However, fans of the Marvel Universe toy line will be sad to hear that the toy line will be canceled. But that's only part of the news. While the toy line will be canceled, it will also be rebranded simply as the 'Avengers' toy line with the same look, articulation and size of the Marvel Universe line. This will happen sometime in 2014-ish, per a Hasbro booth representative.

In the meantime, check out the pictures of Hasbro's amazing Marvel Universe figure display.
