More From Christian Bale On The Chances Of A Sequel To The Dark Knight Rises!

The actor says that this will more than likely be his last film as Batman, but seems to reveal that he's waiting to hear from Chris Nolan about the chances of a fourth movie and comments on working with the director...

There's no clear transcript for the following video interview, but both E! Online and Shokya have two versions which are possibly either from this footage or perhaps even another. Check them out, along with the video, below:

"The thing is that this will be, I believe, unless Chris says different, this will be the last time I'm playing Batman."

Shockya meanwhile have another transcript of an interview with the actor where he apparently talks about Batman 4. Part of the transcript is similar to the video above, but unless they've paraphrased the whole thing, this might be from another interview.

"Until Chris Nolan tells me there will be a Batman 4, I don't believe it. It's gotta be from his mouth, or else I don't really know."

"Chris will let me know what I need to know when I need to know it. I probably know a little bit more than some other people out there, but I think most people would be surprised at how little I do know. It just hasn't been necessary yet. I know he'll give me plenty of time to prepare for whatever I need to, and I'll discover it. He's a pretty damn good filmmaker. I trust that he's going to come up with something wonderful."

The Dark Knight Rises will be released on July 3, 2012!
