After numerous complaints and apparent offence, the company responsible, Clear Channel, have now agreed to remove the advertisment from the side of the funeral home. A spokesman said: "Clear Channel apologises for any offence caused by the unfortunate juxtaposition of this advertisement, which was certainly not intended. We arranged to have it removed right away and it has since come down."

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Channel 5 (the station that the hit AMC/FX show is currently being aired on in the UK) said: "No offence was intended and this particular poster has been removed from the side of the funeral parlour in Durham. We apologise for any offence caused."

What do you guys make of this? An offensive mistake or something that's far from a big deal? Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place!
