I'm Back Baby!

I'm Back Baby!

New alias, new avatar, but still the same old CBM-fan.

Hey everybody

That's right! I'm back! Who? Me, former alias: LuckyKid90. Some of you might remember me, alot of you might not, but I sure as hell still remember a whole lot of you guys (and gals). So I chose to make this article as a reintroduction, just to offer some clearance on why I've now been inactive on this site for more than 9 months. Even though I have been checking in on news every once in awhile when I had the time.
Now I know that this may not spite a whole lot of interest and one might argue that this has zero to little affiliation to what is normally posted on CBM.com. But heck I take my chances and if this gets pulled down, then so be it.

Now first off I had a lot to attend to and sure that kept me from using too much time on this site and I made up my mind about not commenting and posting articles, because that would save me time. But really I cannot blame this on the time. If I really wanted, I could have taken out a few hours each week to make up articles and commenting is like tighing your shoelaces once you get into a rhytm. So really this came down to a fall out, which I had. Mainly because of the fanfic section getting overcrowded and out-of-hand. There was a lot of heated debate and at some point I started doubting that the curve would break, but now it seems that the section is coming back together again. And the addition of a fan reviews section sure was a great notion as well.
So naturally these changes intrigued me into getting back at commenting and writing. But really what made it was a trip down memory lane triggered by a recent feature article: The Best of CBM 2010!

For those of you that haven't read it. Go do it! A brilliant idea i must say, to have members on here vote for a number of nominated CBM.com articles in different categories.
But how is this relevant to me reemerging as a member of this site. Well, to be honest I was really surprised when I read it. One of my articles won me 8th place( thanks to 5 votes, thank you who ever you are (: ) in the editorial category. And reading this made me dive back into some of my old articles and what a fun and reminiscent adventure that was. It reopened my eyes to the wonders of this site, how my articles actually had been not only fun to write but also gotten people to comment, debate and ponder upon the questions and statements I raised.

Now I'm not saying that my articles are that special, anyone could write what I've been until now, but it got me back to thinking that I need to write, I need to comment, I need to start a debate and hopefully the CBM community needs me in just a tiny fracture.
And so in order to make up for irelevance of this article. I will end it as a thank-you speech in regard to my 8th place. I want to say thanks to CBM.com, thanks to the staff, thanks to the members and last but not least thank to the comic book movies which makes for the stuff that we love to write about, and I know I'll be doing just that, once again!

Now with that rock off my chest, I can get back to my block and pen and start writing on my next article, which I hope will be up by the end of this week. So be sure to read it when it hits the my page. And until next time: KEEP ON TRUCKING!
