The final trailer for The Dark Knight Rises was released earlier and I must say that I was expecting something a little more, a little more about the story but that's just me. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved the trailer and I hope it really is the best of the trilogy and the best third film in history. There are some aspects of the trailer that got me excited and I really enjoyed. Here they are.

1:The bridge: That was the first thing in the trailer that put a smile on my face, the bridge exploding and collapsing in the middle of it was really cool and I wonder how that'll play out in the final film.

2:Bane and the cowl: The part of the trailer that put the biggest smile on my face is when Bane is shown holding Batman's cowl. That really has me excited and I think that fight in the batcave is gonna be the end all be all and be the final fight in the film.

3:Anne Hathaway: The trailer really made me believe that Anne is gonna own the Catwoman role. She really kicked some serious ass in the trailer and really looked like she brought her very best to the role.

4:Bane: Tom Hardy as Bane... wow. He really looked like he absolutely took this and ran with it. He's menacing, maybe a little scary, and he completely owns Batman like he ought to.

Final thoughts: We have now fully seen what's in store for us this summer and quite frankly I can't wait. I know in the past I blamed the so called "Nolanites" for ruining the film already by overhyping it but now I really just don't care. Like The Avengers and The Amazing Spider-Man, this is SOOOOOOO getting my money. I was expecting more in the trailer story wise but overall it was a damn good trailer but it wasn't epic like the film more than likely will be. The highlight for me so far is by far, Tom Hardy's Bane. I think he'll tie with Heath Leadger as The Joker for best villain in the entire trilogy.

@Minotauro: I don't want this to turn into a Marvelite vs. Nolanite or DCite war. Marvel fans want substance over action (Avengers, Spider-Man, ect.) but alot of what DC fans and everyone else wants is a dark, gritty, realistic tone like Nolan's Batman films.

I refuse to have that war on my post. It's immature and rediculous, why do we keep comparing films from different companies. Yes, I know everyone is guilty of it but still it's rediculous.

I think having action as a major contributor to comic book movies is a necessity(i spell that right?). I'm attacking the thought process of a certain few(know a quite of few names, but won't say) that think DC needs to overhal action in their movies to make it appeal to them. When Batman is dark to begin with. Less action is better. This suits him well. Superman needs an orginal story. I don't want Zod(I'll make that clear) but atleast he's back.

A dark and gritty tone? Nah, they just want that style applied to every DC film. Film direction that is. Green Lantern failed to achieve this. Dissapointing.

@GhostRiderFan1- The only thing I dissagree with is that The Batcave fight will probably not be the last. I think that will be when Bane breaks Batman, and puts him into his "Rich people of Gotham prison" thingy. And the last battle will be all the people fighting in front of City Hall, because it's day and Batman doesn't give two shits if its day or not. He just wants to beat Bane.

" That really has me excited and I think that fight in the batcave is gonna be the end all be all and be the final fight in the film. "

I disagree. I think that will be the first fight between Bane and Bats with Bats being broken as alluded to with Bane walking off with his cowl. The final fight will be the epic daytime scene with Bane and his followers against Batman and the police.
