Zen Studios has announced that they have a new title coming out, and it's going to be a PS3 exclusive!

We announced this on our other site, but thought readers here at Comic Book Movie would like this as well!

For those that haven't heard, or may have missed GameTrailers TV last Friday, Zen Studios has a new first-person shooter coming out that's designed around "The Punisher", a very popular Marvel comic book character who happens to have a new movie coming out on December 5th.



Apparently the new game will be exclusive to the PS3 and Playstation Network, so Xbox 360 fans are going to be left out in the cold (I'm not even going to mention Wii owners).

Unfortunately there is no release date information available.

We also created a Punisher: No Mercy wallpaper using the logo to help tide people over until Zen Studios begins releasing some assets!

Been there done that (wolfenstein, duke, doom, quake, unreal)... the previous 3rd person Punisher game was better in every way.

I've always been a fan of Punisher games, this is going to be no exception. The last Punisher game was freakin amazingly kick ass. I will be playing this one as well. And just for the record, this movie isn't going to suck, maybe bits and pieces might be bad, as in EVERY MOVIE EVER, but for the majority, it will be grrrrreat.

I don't know man... There's just something about this one... I really really liked Tom Jane's Punisher... I'll just have to wait and see... on DVD.
