"65 million years ago, prehistoric earth had a visitor."
Sony Pictures has shared the first trailer for a new sci-fi adventure called 65, and, as we hinted at yesterday after the teaser, the movie will indeed feature Adam Driver (Star Wars: The Last Jedi, White Noise) facing-off against dinosaurs!
The footage begins with Driver's astronaut, Mills, crash-landing on an unknown, uncharted planet... which turns out to be Earth 65 million years in the past!
According to the updated synopsis: "Now, with only one chance at rescue, Mills (Driver) and the only other survivor, Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic fight to survive.”
65 was written and directed by A Quiet Place scribes Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, who also produced under their recently-formed Beck/Woods banner along with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness director Sam Raimi.
"Bryan and I, we've known each other since we were 11 years old," Beck tells EW. "We grew up in Iowa together, in a small town, and we've had this fascination [with] making movies, and nobody else around us, at 11 years old, wanted to make movies. It was serendipitous that we sat at the same lunch table."

65 is set to hit theaters on March 10, 2023.
