I recently had a night of podcasting magic with Elliott Serrano, if you’re not familiar with the name then you don’t know much about Chicago. When it comes to pop culture, geeks, fanboys and the king of geeks, Elliott Serrano is the man to talk to. Born and breed Chicago he has not only appeared on several WGN radio shows but he is also the cohost for the geek/countergeek and when it comes to Chicago’s biggest convention of the year he is the man you go 2 to learn more about C2E2. He has not only sat in at the Dynamite comics panels but he has even moderated the great Stan Lee.
Aside from talking words of geekdom to the masses he is also an incredible writer not only writing several Army of Darkness series for Dynamite comics but he is also the head blogger at geektome.net, in our sit down we just sat down and talk the differences in Marvel and DC as far as live action and animation as well as the birth of being thrown into this nerdist culture we live in today. We even talk about our first meeting before diving into our expectations of The Force Awakens.
