LOL but I would go with "The Amazing Spiderman vs Electro & Rhino & possibly Green Goblin but not the Green Goblin thats cool the one where he’s kinda hulked out and is always on fire + Gwen Stacy might die in this one". Thats only 40 syllables or so

Due needs to go back and watch Bladerunner again, because had he watched it prior to this editorial he would have known that Rachael didn't have an incept date; meaning her life expectancy was unknown. In hindsight, this could mean that Deckard may not have had an incept date either and could be susceptible to aging.

I have no problem with Lucas being involved in the new Star Wars, I think he would be really good at making coffee for the cast and crew.

Agreed. Lucas will always find a way to be involved.

I find it funny that the guy who started Star Wars and made it so good and popular also ruined it.

Uh, it's been said all along that Lucas would remain as a consultant on the Star Wars films. This isn't news.

Well, he's not the only one in creative control anymore. The problem with the prequels was that he didn't have anybody to challenge him.

This shouldn't be news. They announced that when they made the deal with Disney. George Lucas was always going to stay on as a consultant, I mean why wouldn't he? If there's ever any question about what alien species should go where he's the guy to ask, it's his world. He made it.

That being said, thankfully he has next to no say about casting, writing, or directing of the films.

We can all rest easy...

I can't believe how overrated Lucas is in some people's minds. He's the only creator I know of who comes up with an idea when he can't buy the rights the original (Flash Gorden, Hidden Fortress) and then gives vague direction to numerous artists like Joe Johnston and Ralph McQuarrie, and then gets full credit for coming up with the whole shebang himself. Unbelievable! But he is a good "creative impulse" there's no doubt of that.

It was said from DAY ONE that he will still be involved with Star Wars! such old news and its not a bad thing cause I rather have him as a creative spokesperson as he's a genius in that aspect.

Why wouldn't he be involved, didn't Lucas, I don't know....CREATE STAR WARS!

Of course Lucas is still involved. It's his stories they're making movies from. Forget creating the world, he wrote the treatment for the sequels and he remains the ultimate authority on Star Wars.

You can't forget about the world of Star Wars. That, the sound effects and the music were the very thing most people especially the kids responded to and what made it so special and enduring over the years! That is what sold the toys and other merchandise that kept it alive (a greater area the creativeness that Lucas deserves credit for.. his marketing genius). Nobody cared what the plot was. They only we cared about that was the cool looking villain in black or the cowboy guy or cool ships. Only then did we care to learn more.

I'll get slack for this, but it's kind of good that Lucas is somewhat involved. After all, he DID create Star Wars after all.
