Following that awesome Mondo poster, Sony & Marvel have released yet another spectacular poster for their latest blockbuster Spider-Man: Homecoming, which pays tribute to the wall-crawler's first appearance in 1962's Amazing Fantasy #15.

After a strong $15.4M start on Thursday night, Homecoming is currently outpacing early projections and is now surging toward a high $40M+ Friday and if it continues to hold strong, could be heading toward a massive $120M+ opening (as per Gitesh Pandya), giving it an opening in the unadjusted range of the original 2002 classic Spider-Man. Certainly not a bad start for Marvel's crown jewel.

Check out the new poster below:

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

@Mercwitham0uth - i enjoyed it however it bring continuity issues

In the "Peters Vlog" we see him talking to the camera when Giant Man grows and says "little guys big now". However, in Civil War he shouts "holy shit" in shock (which clearly is his first reaction to the Growth).
