5-year-old Indiana boy, Brayden Denton, passed away on May 8 after a year-long battle with a rare brain tumor, known as DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma). The disease has a 10 percent survival rate. Even though the odds were against him he kept fighting the good fight and used his love of superheroes to distract himself from the grueling procedures he knew he would have to endure, like 30 rounds of radiation treatment.

His first love was Spider-Man, and the good people at the Make-A-Wish Foundation arranged a trip to Universal Studios where he got to meet his favorite Webslinger. Knowing that superheroes were a big part of Brayden's life his family and friends decided Brayden deserved a funeral fit for a superhero. His six pallbearers were Spider-Man, Hulk, Superman, Iron Man, Batman and his Uncle Corey as Thor.

"The whole time I saw them carrying Brayden he was probably up there going, 'This is so cool,'" his mother Staci Denton told the New York Daily News. "That was his world. That's what he would have wanted."

I am literally sick of hearing news on this site about kids dying and having a super hero themed funeral.. It's literally too sad to see happen...these kids won't ever have a chance to experience these new cool things coming soon in life....especially since he's a spiderman fan, he won't even be able to see future spiderman movies with his uncle later down the line......this just fills my heart up with sadness....R.I.P little boy....
