Actress Laura Harrier (Liz Allan) has shared an image on social media, announcing that reshoots are now underway on Spider-Man: Homecoming. We already figured this would be the case after some earlier set snaps, and because pretty much every comic book movie undergoes reshoots of some description at some point, anyway.

In addition, we have some new promotional pics for the film via Vk.com. As you can see, the larger image of Spidey himself is pretty clear, but there are also some smaller pics of the Webhead striking some signature poses along with The Vulture that you might need a magnifying glass for. Hopefully, some better snaps of those cereal boxes find their way online soon.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 7.

Spidy looks great, those eye effects really help him standout from the other versions.

I'm glad they went with a more high school aged cast with a 20 year old Holland, 20 year old Jacob Batalon, 20 year old Zendaya and -checks google- a 26 year old Laura Harrier? Well, one of these things is not like the other

@DannRamm113 - Everyone in the high school cast is about 20, its odd they would go so much older for the love interest, but I don't suppose it matters, she can pass of as younger and more out of Hollands element

@DannRamm113 - So none of them are actual like everyone praises them to be? Thanks.

@Origame - i mean, 20 is acceptable, just odd theyd go 5 years older for the love interest

@Origame - Labor laws become more difficult if they were under 18. The majority of "high school" movies and tv shows use people over 18. Half the cast of the definitive high school movie (The Breakfast Club) was in their mid 20s at the time of filming.

@DannRamm113 @MNLawyer I understand that. And I didn't mean to seem like I was saying anything in anger to you guys. Just so many people on this site claimed Garfield was unacceptable because he wasn't a teenager yet we have someone else who's also not a teenager. Just want the record to show THEIR hypocrisy.
