UPDATE: This afternoon in the UK, the BBFC has now confirmed via Twitter that this listing is not for a new trailer. As of now, the site still hasn't been updated, but we may not be getting a new look at Spider-Man: No Way Home next week after all. Here's that Tweet and the original story.
Spider-Man: No Way Home's world premiere takes place in Los Angeles on December 13, and there's a lot of concern among fans that spoilers will soon start finding their way online. Harry Styles' Eternals cameo was ruined by a Variety reporter who attended the event, so if Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are in the movie, it won't take long until someone spills the beans.
There has been some speculation that Sony and Marvel Studios might release some sort of final trailer confirming their presence, as it would help ensure a lot of casual fans check out the movie next week, too. After all, the secrecy was a good way to build the sort of hype and online chatter that sells tickets early on, but showing the Spider-Men in action before it's casually spoiled would make sense.
Now, the BBFC has classified a new two-minute trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home that will seemingly be released on the same day the threequel swings into theaters in several international territories.
We wouldn't be shocked if this drops online to coincide with the premiere, but it might be time to start being as careful as possible if you hope to go into the movie not knowing any big surprises. Next week, though, we'll have plenty of spoiler-free content, including our interview with Tom Holland!
Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.
