SPOILERS: Doctor Octopus' Shocking Fate Revealed In AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #25

Today's issue of Amazing Spider-Man #25 finally revealed Otto Octavius' fate following the events of The Clone Conspiracy, and it's fair to say that this is a twist no one will have seen coming...

Today's issue of Amazing Spider-Man confirmed that Doctor Octopus survived the events of The Clone Conspiracy after making his way into the proto-clone created by him and The Jackal. Now a mixture of Peter Parker and his own self, Otto Octavius has Spider powers and his metal arms, something which has led to the villain dubbing himself "The Superior Octopus."

Lame name aside, this is an interesting new direction for the villain, especially as he's aligned himself with Baron Zemo and Hydra for the upcoming Secret Empire event which will see Captain America reveal his evil nature to the rest of the Marvel Universe.

Also in today's issue #25 of the series, we learned that Norman Osborn isn't actually hideously deformed as a literal Goblin, while Silver Sable made a shock return as well. What do you guys think about Doctor Octopus' new status quo? As always, feel free to let us know your thoughts and theories on these latest developments in the comments section down below.
