SuperHeroHype report that the first two and a half minute trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man will debut as soon as NEXT WEEK. The information comes from the same source who was pretty spot on with the information about The Dark Knight Rises, so expect to see the trailer online sometime within the next 10 days and in certain US cinemas next Friday! Here is an excerpt from their report.



We first brought you word that The Dark Knight Rises teaser poster and trailer were debuting this week and now that same source is telling us that the first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man will hit theaters next week with select prints of Captain America: The First Avenger. We're hearing that the trailer is a full 2 minutes and 30 seconds long!


With an all star cast that includes Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy, Rhys Ifans as Curt Connors, Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben and Sally Field as Aunt May, The Amazing Spider-Man is set to be released in 3D on July 3, 2012!

With all the seemingly practical webswinging they've done, I'm not surprised they have a lot of material to show. I'm not too sure we're already going to see the Lizard... but here's hoping anyway!

it could be a similar idea with the early green lantern promotional stuff, with the film such a while away they might be reluctant to show early footage of something heavily cgi based and face the wrath of people complaining.

Not that people dont massively overreact and complain about non cgi stuff like the sizes of peoples heads and necks and the way a costume has been designed.
