Filming of a huge car chase scene, with multiple crashes, has been taking place in downtown Rochester over the past few days, and one fan was able to record some raw footage. Come see what part of the scene might look for Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

It would be so awesome if they had Spidey swinging in the background chasing the cars, actually there's a good chance that they could do just that. Remember the practical swinging from the first movie?

@Nomis I agree. I rented it from redbox and I kept being distracted by the smallest stuff. I had to rewind it a few times because my mind would wander and I would miss entire scenes. It was grueling.

@Dminic@exe Spidey's not supposed to be bulky. Hes supposed to be thin, athletic and have a nice tiny tight butt.
Maguires butt wasn't as small as Garfield's because Maguire had different physique. Shorter limbs too.:(
I think Garfield's long neck and elongated limbs are a good sign lucky Emma Stone is happy with his size. Guarantee you Garfield's really hung! We know how to spot such things. :D

They never explain in any of the spiderman movies just how he made the suit...it's just too good for him to have sewn it together himself. Why couldn't an early adventure have him saving a tailor from a mugger and the guy offering to make spidey a new suit after seeing him in his first homemade one? I'm just sayin!

Am I the only one who finds the eyes make the costume too cartoony? I appreciate the faithfulness to the comics but really this is just Raimi's suit w/ new eyes. Except the white glass lenses on the Raimi suit brought it slightly back down to earth. Granted, in a movie about a guy w/ spider-like superpowers dressing up in a red and blue spandex suit it's not really about being down to earth, but I don't know. I just feel like the eyes on this suit are too cartoony and makes it a little harder to accept in a live action movie. Just my opinion.

@Dminic Hes probably just putting his fists together for a second while hes looking at something or talking to someone.It was probably just a second and somebody takes a pic and it looks like he was purposefully posing.

But when your banging Emma Stone and youre sexy, hung and rich you can pose however you want. ;D

I love the costume here - and think Garfield is a great Peter! Much prefer Amazing Spider Man to the Tobey portrayal. I think he has the right build too - Spidey should look slim and spindly - doesn't need huge muscles.
