With David Ayer's Suicide Squad rapidly approaching, new footage and details will be finding their way online, and we'll soon get to know more about the characters that make up Task Force X. The Squad is made up of some of the most insane and dangerous villains of the DC Film Universe, and the most mysterious of them all is Katana (Karen Fukuhara). In a recent interview with Comicbook.com, Fukuhara spoke about her character's purpose in the Suicide Squad and where her loyalties lie. “She’s very loyal to Amanda Waller and Rick Flag," Fukuhara told the site. "She works under them and keeps a rowdy bunch in line. She's a protector and a fierce warrior."

The recent trailers have showcased that the film will feature a strong supernatural element with the likes of Katana and her "Soultaker" sword. When asked about how much of her supernatural powers we would see throughout the film, the actress revealed some interesting details about her character, mostly pertaining to her sword. "She has her husband's soul in her sword and I got to talk to Maseo throughout the film and yes, of course that's in the film, but you'll have to wait and see how much of the plays into the movie." Are you excited to see Katana and her Soultaker sword in action? Has anyone seen this fun little interview from years ago Snyder did where if he directed Batman Begins, he'd show Bruce getting raped in prison? I'm not even joking about that. He actually said he'd show Bruce getting butt[frick]ed in prison.
