Don't go near ANY rides with a Batman or Superman theme this summer. Heck, you might just want to stay away from Six Flags altogether. While no one was injured this time, authorities had to remove 25 people from the "Superman: Ride of Steel" before a malfunction threatened yet again!
The incident occurred at around 7 p.m. at the amusement park. The ride allows people to sit in a flying position during the ride. The stuck passengers had to be removed by fire and rescue workers when when the ride came to an abrupt and uncharacteristic halt mid-ride.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident. The ride, however, was shut down while crews investigated the cause of the malfunction.
Last weekend we reported about a
young man who was decapitated by a Batman roller coaster at a Six Flags in Georgia, and last year at this time, a young girl had her feet severed below the ankles while on the "Superman Tower of Power" at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
Overall, this is turning out to be a nightmare not only for Six Flags but for DC comics characters.
