First Look At The TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Trailer

The full thing hasn't been released yet, but before actor Will Arnett appeared on the Today Show, they debuted our first look at the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles teaser -- and most of the footage was revealed. Check it out.

"The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is directed by Jonathan Liebesman. It stars Megan Fox, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson, Danny Woodburn, William Fichtner, Will Arnett, Whoopi Goldberg and opens August 8.

They seem to get the character of the Turtles right.

I'm still not getting why they would get Megan Fox as April O Neil! The chick from Dredd would've been perfect for the role.

You'd think Michael Bay would be the LAST person to want Megan Fox back after she trashed him.

William Fichtner is awesome...that looks pretty damn good...like the mask part humor (wait, humor is ok in this movie, right? It's not Marvel is it? ;)

The Turtles look a little wierd. I guess they were really trying to make them look like turtles. It seems like it will be pretty humorous. I still don't know though. I'm missing the asian influence, and what them ninjas.

After seeing Captain America: The Winter Soldier yesterday, this just looks hilarious and stupid. And this movie was just phenomenal. Best MCU solo movie yet.

I'm still severely disappointed that they cast Megan "toe thumbs" Fox as April. The comic relief will have more range than her.

This a taually looks...good. Maybe Michael Bay's film style commie te cheaters like the turtles. I think it does. It fits thir very quirky, unique and adventurous qualities. This could be a hit

Yeah, it looks like Transformer action scenes. We get dark jumbled out of focus action. Turtles looked ok.

ok, that looked cool though mikeys face looked alittle weird,mianly the nose,william fitcher looks like he is gonna be quite meanicing as Shredder,though im not getting fooled yet,i love the transformers but i am not a fan of the transformers films at all, michaels bay idea of humor is john turturro in a thong, dogs humping, racist robots so yeah..no plus the characters in that were bad,i disliked the human characters immensely, the action is so badly filmed,you cant see what the hell is going on...no, just no,i know this is not directed by michael bay but it is directed jonathan liebesman who imo has not directed a good film yet so yeah ..lets see

Never been a big TMNT fan but this looks pretty good. Even though it's just a teaser. I personally (except for Revenge of the Fallen) love the Transformers movies. People forget that Bay didn't direct this movie. So, it's not going to entirely have a Bay touch to it. Still not excited about Fox as April but other than that, I'm all for this so far.
