The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.

The sad thing is that the turtles have been in a lot of shitty and stupid things like 10 musical videos, stupid movies, crappy talk shows, etc. and you still think this movie is what will destroy them.

What the hell is going on with his mouth region...nose..chin...yeah it's definitely shrek-ish...just no shrek ears...

And yeah, why have that twig vest on? Like that will do anything...

ehhhh...I still think the trailer looked good. I'm still gonna see it. I want more attention for the Turtles. Hopefully they will be getting the love they deserve soon

You're all a bunch of whiny babies that have no conception of the awesomeness that we're receiving with this movie.

Whatever they looked like, no TRUE TMNT fan will "boycott" or skip this film, however it is you feel about it.

I am a diehard fan of the Turtles, a little more than a 27 year old man should be, and I couldn't be more excited about this movie. Do I have the same reservations about this movie as the rest of the fan base but c'mon! You can't claim to "love" something as much as you do and completely write off it's newest incarnation.

Again, if you're a REAL fan of the TMNT, you won't miss this movie.

I like the new turtle designs. They're so much more sophisticated looking with a ton load more character than previous versions.

and btw they look absolutely nothing like Shrek except for colour.

I also said shrek-face when I saw it.. I do think it's funny that in the trailer, they poke fun a the original outcry of the first script calling the turtles Aliens..."So they're aliens?" "Aliens? That would be stupid... they're Ninjas!"

I disagree...just because something has the TMNT name doesn't mean a "true fan" has to see it to be considered a True Fan.. any True Fan would recognize crap when they see it and boycott it on principle.. I'm not saying this movie will be crap, because the story does sound interesting.. I just think the art direction they went with is horrible and whoever did the CGI apparently has never seen a turtle in their life as they do not look like turtles.. The face looks shrek-like and the shell looks more like a backpack than a turtle shell. Anyone who has seen a turtle knows that the shell is part of the body, and yet the bottom of the shell is clearly on his back as it's flat on his back whereas the flat should be part of his stomach

... but to entertain YOUR idiocy, I indeed would check out your ridiculously foul artwork because (1) I am an artist and enjoy any and all artwork involving the Turtles and (2) I'm a TRUE turtle fan and will check out any and everything involving them.

I never said real fans HAVE TO LIKE all incarnations of the turtles, but a real fan will be interested and down to support and check out this newest version.

Again, I'm a diehard fan, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna enjoy EVERYTHING. I mean, no one liked 'The Next Mutation', cuz it sucked... but I, along with every other TENT fan checked it out and gave it a chance.

Toooo many "fans" are judging this movie way too early on. Off of DUMB shit.
