UPDATE #2 First Look At Michael Bay's Pre-CGI TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!

Three of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were on set today fight The Foot. Noel Fisher (Michelangelo), Pete Ploszek, (Leonardo) and Jeremy Howard (Donatello) were all on set wearing their motion-capture suits, but Smallville's Alan Ritchson (Rapheal) was not.

NINJA TURTLES will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman ("Wrath of the Titans"), and produced by Michael Bay ("The Rock"). The script was written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, based on characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The cast includes: Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Danny Woodburn as Splinter, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, and Will Arnett as April's cameraman. It lands in theaters June 6th, 2014.

I have a feeling the Turtles are going to look awesome! Honestly I loved the first movie with the live action Turtles but the problem is they weren't very ninja-esque because they were highly limited to what they were physically able to do. Still impressive but I think the CGI route is the best way to go to really capture their ninja skills.

you know what. i now officially put this in my looking forward to list of 2014, the last one on the list though. i dig the fact that the foot looks like league of shadows ninjas and i especially like that they made the shells on the back. P.S. did anyone else notice the color coordinated sleeves on their arms?

i also dig that they don't just use old school ninja weapons. The guy on first left clearly has a pistol strapped to his hi, and the guy on the back right has an M4. i like that they won't pussyfoot with the idea of murder.

@jdwylwer404- "The Foot," as it were, aren't even a ninja clan in the script that leaked. Here's being optimistic that they've changed things in the rewrite, but the look of them doesn't make me hopeful

Also, does anyone else think the shell's look a little too large for the body frames of the actors?

Looking forward to this movie, because it's fuhck'n TMNT! However, militarized foot clan? Turtles held captive? Looks like something I once read in a REALLY bad script that leaked not too long ago...

@NPaMusic, your right he's only producing. But take a look at his IMDB page under "Producer"..... Not a good track record, and being a producer he's got a lot of say when it comes to the movie.

Oh get off your high horses. Just because they are using mocap does not mean they are any less invested in the turtles then the old movies. Rewatch those films. There are times where I think they had to edit stuff a certain way because physically those suits sucked. Also this may be the easier way to get a living breathing mutated turtle versus some moving faces.
