THE FLASH Producer Teases Batman's Role With New BTS Photo - But Which Bruce Wayne?

The Flash producer Barbara Muschietti has taken to Instagram to tease Batman's involvement in the currently shooting movie, but does the chair belong to Ben Affleck or Michael Keaton's take on Bruce Wayne?

The Flash director Andy Muschietti recently confirmed that production on the Scarlet Speedster's first solo adventure had commenced in the UK by sharing the movie's official title logo, and we've since seen some intriguing set photos which appeared to be taken at the familiar location of Wayne Manor from Batman '89.

Now, producer Barbara Muschietti has officially confirmed Batman's role in the film with a new behind-the-scenes shot from the set.

Muschietti shared a photo of a chair with the name Bruce Wayne, teasing the Dark Knight's involvement. The question is, which version of Batman is taking a load off between takes? Both Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck are believed to be reprising their respective takes on the iconic DC Comics vigilante, but, as far as we know, the latter hasn't filmed any scenes yet.

So, taking those aforementioned set snaps into account, it seems more likely that this is Keaton's chair.

Christina Hodson wrote the The Flash's script, with Michael Disco and Marianne Jenkins on board as executive producers. Plot details are still under wraps, but the story is expected to be at least partially influenced by the Flashpoint comic book arc.

In addition to Keaton and Affleck, we recently found out that the movie would introduce Sasha Calle as the DCEU's new Supergirl. Kiersey Clemons will reprise the role of Iris West, and Zack Snyder's Justice League star Ray Fisher recently indicated that there was still a chance he could appear as Cyborg (we seriously doubt that happens).

This is not a particularly revealing tease, but hopefully we'll see a little more from the Muschiettis as filming continues.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. It has all of a sudden picked up the pace after Muschietti came on board.

Still don't not a fan of Miller though. Would've preferred a reboot.

I still would’ve like to see Jeffery Dean Morgan’s Thomas Wayne suit up. I think a “no rules” Batman would’ve been an interesting change of pace.

@WruceBayne - no rules Batman you say?

@WruceBayne - That'd be the best Bat-variant.

I'd be also for Ben returning because having an old Bruce as a mentor sounds totally lame.

Keaton is fine, but definitely not my favorite Bat.
I'd prefer him returning as Vulture where he was a very fun character.

@WruceBayne -
Um, no rules Batman is Punisher and not Batman. The thing that makes Batman heroic is the principles he operates under.
