Following director Andy Muschietti's logo reveal and a distant glimpse of the character taking flight, we have our first proper look at Sasha Calle fully suited-up as Supergirl on the set of Warner Bros.' The Flash.
As we suspected based on the emblem tease, Calle is sporting a slightly altered take on the Girl of Steel's classic costume, with the red starting at the chest and continuing back around the shoulders. Other than that, the outfit seems to be in keeping with the design of Henry Cavill's Superman suit. The actress will also be rocking a shorter hairstyle, and clearly won't be going blonde for the role.
There's no sign of a cape, and while there is always a chance this take on Kara won't utilize one, it will more than likely be added in post.
Check out the photo below, and keep an eye out for updates as filming continues in London, England.
Christina Hodson wrote the The Flash's script, with Michael Disco and Marianne Jenkins on board as executive producers. Plot details are still under wraps, but the story is expected to be at least partially influenced by the Flashpoint comic book arc.
In addition to Calle, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen and Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as their respective takes on Batman, Kiersey Clemons will reprise the role of Iris West, and Zack Snyder's Justice League star Ray Fisher recently indicated that there was still a chance he could appear as Cyborg (we seriously doubt that happens at this stage).
The Flash is currently shooting in The UK, and is scheduled to race into theaters on November 4, 2022.
