Marking the production's forth day this week on the University of Greenwich's campus, today's filming for Thor: The Dark World not only sees the return of Chris Hemsworth and his stunt-double, but also the Ancient race of Dark Elves; and possibly their ruler Malekith's double for Christopher Eccleston. Anyhow, photos and videos from today precisely feature the titular God of Thunder taking on a villainous Elf, with deserted cars and wreckage surrounding them.

The executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Victoria Alonso, Craig Kyle and Nigel Gostelow. The film releases November 8, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
In addition to “Thor: The Dark World”, Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on more iconic Marvel characters including “Iron Man 3” on May 3, 2013; “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on April 4, 2014; “Marvel's The Avengers” sequel (title TBA) on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!
