There's a good chance that some sort of announcement will be made at Hasbro's Investor Day next Wednesday, November 9 regarding the next installment(s) of the Transformer's franchise, so stay tuned.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is a 2011 American science fiction-action film based on the Transformers toy line. First released on June 23, 2011, it is the third installment of the live-action Transformers film series. Like its predecessors, Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Dark of the Moon is directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg. The film's story structure revolves around a genuine NASA manned mission to the Moon. Three years after the events of the second film and 42 years after the Apollo 11 space race, the Autobots continue to work for the NEST (Networked Elements: Supporters and Transformers) military force. Meanwhile, the Decepticons unveil a plan to use the new groundbreaking technology, the Pillars, to enslave Humanity in order to save the home planet of the Transformers, Cybertron.

"I think it's going to be a ginormous crazy-looking movie. [Laughs] I have no idea exactly what it's going to look like other than it's going to be a big blue room as far as I know. Then they'll create some amazing world around it."

Ha! Shuddering at that Saw films? They weren't all terrible. I kinda like them. Which three did they write? If Pacific Rim turns out to be bad, it will be the FIRST time Del Toro has failed.

For everybody who's is unfamiliar with Hunger Games, its really pretty good. Its the whole kids force to fight to the death scenario. Got some pretty grim stuff in it.

How are they gonna do the next two Transformers films? All the Decepticons have been destroyed in the last film. Plus Michael Bay wasn't too excited about using Unicron or the Dinobots. Way to go, Bay, you just lost a fan amongst a huge country of Anti-Bay people (I won't say "haters", I'm not a gay little kid).

Come on guys.......just get over it

Yes, the TF movies could have been a lot better, STORY WISE. But the fact of the matter is, they were still [frick]in' awesome, fun to watch and Michael Bay gave us something we have never seen before that few directors could have delivered even THAT well!

Outside of the fact that everyone on here went and saw all 3, probably bought all 3 and will bitch and moan about all 3....you will still go and see and probably buy the next films.

What is everybody gonna do a new director gets to helm the franchise?

Pacific Rim/Del Toro. Automatic must see. Dude hasn't failed yet. If this was Peter Jackson helming it, I'd be more gunshy about it, but Del Toro? Yes! I'm really stoked too because when a guy like Del Toro says, "This is my most un-modest film, this has everything...The scale is enormous and I'm just a big kid having fun" it's signaling the type of movie it is as well as giving us the heads up that this movie will be Biiiiiiig.

TF4 and 5: DotM was the strongest of the three by far so to me, they ended (or interluded since it was clear that there'd be more of 'em comin') on a high note. If they can take what they did in DotM and fine tune it, 4 and 5 should be most awesome. I'm in.

The Hunger Games? Pass. Not even worth downloading (if I did that sort of thing anyways).

Beast Wars was amazing!!! obviously you never gave the show a chance Skulldeath. the whole thing ties right into the 80's transformers. and it's optimus pimal, he is not even the same character at all.

they only had the organic skin for one season and it was to shield them from the overabundance of energon. in season 2 they have metal forms. like I said before you never gave the show a chance, it starts out ok but gets awesome later on.
