Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould's Breaking Bad prequel, Better Call Saul, is currently a third of the way through its fifth season, and fans seem to be loving it more than ever. AMC has now shared a short trailer for the episode that will be with us next Monday.

Taking a look at what's to come, it seems that Mike (Jonathan Banks, Community) will be continuing his downward spiral for some time. Meanwhile, Jimmy, a.k.a. Saul Goodman himself (Bob Odenkirk, W/ Bob and David) is finally having that sit-down with Howard who is very eager to learn all about Jimmy's newly adopted persona.

Outside of that, a lot of what is shown here is just quick shots of the characters and a few lines out of context, but we also have a funny video featuring Michael Mando's Nacho Varga teaching viewers how to spot counterfeit cash.

Set in the early 2000s, Better Call Saul follows the story of con-man turned small-time lawyer, Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), beginning six years before the events of Breaking Bad, showing his transformation into the persona of criminal-for-hire Saul Goodman.

Jimmy becomes the lawyer for former beat cop Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), whose relevant skill set allows him to enter the criminal underworld of drug trafficking in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Better Call Saul airs Monday nights at 9 pm on AMC.

This show is easily one of the best ever made. The writing and acting is just superb. This season has been so damn good.

@BlackBeltJones - I'm glad that storyline with his brother is finally over, though. That was a drag. Season 4 and 5 were much better as a result.

@PsychoticSpaceRaccoon - O thought it dragged a bit as well but what it was leading to was worth it. It really shaped Jimmy and we needed it. The storyline really felt warranted by mid season 3

[frick] can this show get any better? It's surpassing BrBa in some ways and I love it. I hope TV never knows a place where Gilligan and Gould aren't writing something. If BrBa was an epic, BCS is a tragedy.
