Following last night's Preacher panel, AMC has released the official Comic-Con trailer for the fourth and final season, offering a wild and crazy preview of things to come as everything goes to hell.

Preacher returns for its fourth and final season in just a few short weeks and to get fans properly amped, AMC has released an absolutely wild Comic-Con trailer for the upcoming season, which will finally see everything go straight to hell - and it looks like  Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) and Tulip O'Hare (Ruth Negga) are definitely coming along for the ride. 

However, before we get to that, the dynamic duo will have to rescue their pal Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) from the most unfortunate of circumstances. 


 
Preacher is the story of Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), a conflicted preacher in a small Texas town who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that allows him to develop a highly unconventional power. Jesse embarks on a journey to, literally, find God, joined by his ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun).

This deserved 2 more seasons. That being said, I’m incredibly excited to see how it wraps up. I’ve enjoyed the departure from the comics. Keeps me on my toes, while still feeding into my love for the original book

@GratefulBat - mmmm mildly closer than the previous 2 seasons. They do the humperdoo stuff decently well, which is good fun. But yeah, it’s a departure no two ways around it. Def closer to source material tho

@Vocloz - In some ways I actually prefer the show's take on Cassidy. He's a horrible bastard in the comics, so I like that they made him more likable.

@RorMachine - I'm with ya man. Cassidy's much more fun and lovable here, a goofy, violent rogue type thing. In the book he just steals Jesse's girl and like, does a buncha f'd up stuff.
