THE BOYS Adds Antony Starr, Chace Crawford, Dominique McElligott And More As Members Of The Seven
More principal cast members for Amazon's upcoming adaptation of Garth Ennis' The Boys have been announced, and it looks like Preacher duo Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen are focusing in the bad guys first...
We recently found out that True Detective actress Erin Moriarty had been cast as Annie January, a.k.a. Starlight, in Amazon's upcoming adaptation of Garth Ennis Darick Robertson's The Boys, and now we know who'll be playing her teammates in "superhero" team, The Seven.
According to Deadline, Antony Starr (American Gothic) will play team-leader Homelander, Dominique McElligott (The Last Tycoon) will portray conflicted powerhouse Queen Maeve, Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl) will bring life to aquatic hero The Deep, Jessie T. Usher (Survivor’s Remorse) will play a speedster named A-Train, and Nathan Mitchell (iZombie) is martial artist Black Noir.
That takes care of The Seven, so let's hope we find out who has been cast as The Female, Mother's Milk, Wee Hughie, Billy Butcher and The Frenchman soon.
The Boys hails from Sony Pictures TV Studios, which will co-produce with Amazon, and Neal H. Moritz’s studio-based Original Films.
