This season of The Walking Dead has been a break neck pace. Major characters have been killed off while we are also being introduced to new ones. A lot is going on in each episode, and that didn't stop with the last episode which found Maggie and Glen captured by Merle while he was looking for Michonne. Over at the Boston Herald, they have seen the episode, and gave us a few things to watch out for during the next episode.

• Merle locks Glenn in a room with a walker while he is tied to a chair.

• The Governor handles interrogation on Maggie, and is just as ruthless to her.

• Michonne finds herself extremely depended on Rick’s group for a short time.

• Michonne does a lot of watching of Rick’s group and comes to the realization she can trust them.

• Andrea helps with an experiment that tests whether or not walkers can retain their memories.

• Carol is reunited with the group.

• Carl picks a name for his baby sister.

As we get closer and closer to the mid season finale, you can expect for the epissodes to get a little more intense. With Michonne finding Rick and the survivors at the prison and Merle taking Glenn and Maggie hostage, it only seems like a matter of time before it will come to a bloody show down. Catch The Walking Dead which stars Andrew Lincon, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus, Lori Holden, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, and David Morrissey, Sundays at 9P.M. on AMC.

From what they showed in the preview and that perverted look on his face, she may get raped by Merle if it happens

Its gonna be almost exact to the comic. It will be brutal, controversial, and hard to watch. But at the same time, it is gonna add amazing depth to the characters and really show how evil the governer is and how evil people are in this time.

I feel like they took the Governor of the comic and split his persona into the shows Governor and Merle. I Guess bringing the comic Governor to the screen would have been a little too crazy and unrealistic so making him more relatable to the common working man was the better choice...I just wish they didnt switch the characters that he interacted with in the comics. The Rick, Michonne, Tyreese hatred for Gov dynamic was epic. Really tho, I wont get as much satisfaction from seeing Maggie get her final revenge on Gov as i would Michonne. But whatever! Shows still one of best ever made...yea i said it.

yeah, if they were to kill glenn or darryl now i'm out. i understand that eventually it may have to happen, but the show is at its best and they are both key reasons. to do so would only be for shock value, not good writing in any way at all.

SPOILER

similar situation with boardwalk empire. once they killed jimmy in season 2(!?) i was done.

I hope Maggie doesn't get raped because she might turn into something like how Andrea was in series 2

So am I the only one that would like to see a Daryl/Merle showdown to end the season. Like Daryl starts to follow his brother like he was at frist, then Merle does something to Carrol which makes Daryl realize his brother is wrong and they fight?

"Wake up Maggie, I think I got something to give to you." -The Governor (who's a big fan of Rod Stewart AND a rapist).

Michone is a powerful character and for her to get raped has more impact to the story because she's such a strong woman and so if they did the tv change-up by having it be Maggie I think it will just be another horrible thing to happen.

From everything I've read so far, the creators of this TV series want the people who have read the comic to be able to be surprised at what happens in the series. Therefore you get what we've gotten so far, characters and situations from the comics getting twisted and mixed up to "throw us off".

I for one am glad they went the way they did with their depiction of the Governor. C'mon, in real life, if David Morrisey had looked like his comic book counterpart, would you trust him? Probably not. So they made him almost like a Liam Neeson type of character. You trust him. So that when his crazy side does come out, you dont' expect it as much (I'm talking about people who haven't read the comic) and it's even more shocking when he gets around to doing what he does to the characters he capturs (in this case, Maggie and Glenn). Mild made up spoilers ahead!

I'd venture a guess and say that the Governor threatens to have Glenn killed in order for Maggie to consent to having sex with him to save Glenn's life. Then he goes ahead and kills Glenn. So instead of the rape being the OMG moment, it's the fact that he goes ahead and kills Glenn. Therefore, Maggie has more of a reason to enact her 'justice' on the Governor. She not only had sex with this monster in order to save the man she loves, he then goes ahead and kills him anyways.

Question tho-how many episodes willl THIS season have? I read in this article, and it's the first time I've come across this, it said "mid-season finale". Is it going to be like breaking bad where they're going to split it up and there's going to be a break so they can have like 16 episodes? I watched the first two seasons in one sitting so if they've done this in season 2, I wasn't aware.

The mid season 2 break happened right after they found Sophia in the barn.

They will interrogate Glenn and Maggie, then let them go. They Glenn and Maggie will unwittingly lead them back to the prison.
