The Walking Dead Collection, a bundle of all 19 previously released episodes of Telltale Games'
The Walking Dead game series (based on the Robert Kirkman graphic novel series of the same name), is set to release next week. In preparation for its launch, the developer/publisher has shared a new video highlighting the graphical improvements it has over the original versions of the game.
The Walking Dead Collection includes the recent third season,
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, as well as visually enhanced versions of Season One, Season Two, 400 Days, and the three-part Michonne mini-series - all on a single disc or download. More than just a bundle though, its transition to PS4 and Xbox One means the older episodes have receive quite the graphical enhancement. Check out the video below for a comparison.
"It’s easy to forget how far graphics have come in the five years since Season One debuted, but...uh, let’s just say those old Xbox 360 games don’t look nearly as good as your rose-tinted memory wants you to believe," Telltale said. "Updating The Walking Dead to today’s standards proved to be an enormous undertaking, but one we feel was well worth it to help bridge the gap between Clementine’s past and her future in the fourth and final season"
The Walking Dead Collection will be available in stores and digitally for PS4 and Xbox One for $49.99 on December 5. It's the perfect opportunity to catch up with the story before The Walking Dead: The Final Season (working title) arrives in 2018.
