AMC's The Walking Dead may not be as big of a hit as it once was, but Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is still considered a highlight of the show by many.

And now, a new trailer for Tekken 7's second season pass reveals the fan-favorite baddie will make his way into the video game world, as he joins the list playable characters in the popular fighting series.

While there is gameplay footage of Anna Williams and Lei Wulong, there isn't any featuring Negan in combat. However, the tail end of the preview does provide a shadowy tease of the character, who is standing ominously with Lucille in hand.

I do still like Negan but it has he really made that much of an impact to put into a Tekken game. I remember many years ago when they put Kratos into the game and that made sense to me. Negan I'm a bit skeptical. Now I dont game as much as I used to but I'm curious to see what everyone else will think.

@MrCamw1 - I don't get it either. If this was Mortal Kombat I could dig it but Tekken? It's bizarre.

That's a bit much. I don't play many games anymore, and I don't really watch The Walking Dead other than the big moments, but Negan quickly became a caricature after his excellent introduction.

@AnthonyVonGeek I guess only Jesus would be on par in that case. Either way I got the season pass so I'll be cracking heads with Lucille. Next Michonne'll be popping up in Soul Calibur lol.

Off-topic: just got back from Fallout. Trying to decide whether this or Rogue Nation is the best in the series. If you haven't seen it yet, you need to see it now (especially in IMAX if you can).

And yes: the mustache was worth it.

WHAT THE [frick]!? Idk If I should feel amazed by the weirdest crossover ever or just plain dumb founded that a walking dead character will be able to survive a hit by ANYONE in the tekken universe

Big Tekken fan since the original. This is unexpected. Glad they brought the other two characters back. Can't wait to see who else they add this season.

I’m really glad they added Lei Wulong to Tekken 7. I’m surprised he was excluded from the original roster.

Terry Bogard appears in Fighting EX Layer as a guest and gets genderbend for SNK Heroines.
We have the EVO currently running.
Sagat and G were revealed for SF5.
And now Negan joins the Tekken 7 roster.

This has been a crazy week for fighting games.

this is weird but I am okay, though I agree MK or Injustice would've been a better fit. Are they actually getting Jeffrey Dean Morgan to do the voice?
