THE WALKING DEAD: Watch Rick Grimes' Final Scene And Some Featurettes For The Shocking Episode

Andrew Lincoln's stint on The Walking Dead is officially at an end but the character will live on in a series of movies. Now, AMC has released a couple of featurettes for last night's episode and they take us behind the scenes of both some huge stunts and the hallucinations which brought back some fan-favourite faces (including Shane Walsh and Hershel Greene).

However, if you've given up on the show (which a lot of viewers have based on ratings for season nine), then you may also want to take a look at Lincoln's final scene in the long-running zombie drama.

As you can see, he was discovered alive after saving his fellow survivors and ended up being taken to parts unknown in that mysterious helicopter which has been popping up in The Walking Dead for a few years now. It's an ending for the character which has split opinions, especially as it feels like something of a fake out. On the plus side, at least Rick's story will continue.

What did you guys think of last night's episode? Share your thoughts in the comments section!

This episode was terrible but I did actually enjoy the dead characters returning. It is pretty silly that Rick doesn't s see his wife our son and instead sees Sasha who I'm pretty sure he only spoke two sentences to before she died.

@CurlyBill - He didn't see his wife or son because they weren't paid enough to make ghostly comebacks.

I liked the episode but LOVED the fact that it's not a definitive over for him. It was pretty emotional for my fellow TWD watchers but I'm happy how it ended for Rick.

I'm was a really good episode only beef I have is that Lori and Carl didn't make an appearance. But the badass Judith Grimes was a shocker and the Whisperers looks to be a decent storyline so far. Loving the new season.

Not sure how I feel about this proposed trilogy of TWD films.

Where's the public interest?

@L0RDbuckethead - They'll be on AMC as TV movies.

@Battabing - Still though, no one asked for this, and based on the slipping TWD viewership over the years, idk how I feel about this.

So, is there some kind of time jump in this series?
