Tonight's hour was quite the eventful one as Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) reunited with the rest of Team Arrow and launched an all-out attack on Diaz (Kirk Acevedo). However, it didn't take long for him to realize that he and his team were simply outmanned and outgunned, which forced him to make a very difficult decision as he confessed to Agent Watson (Sydelle Noel) that he was indeed the Green Arrow.

Next week, Oliver and Team Arrow join forces with the FBI to bring Diaz down once and for all and even though set photos may have spoiled the final moments of the season finale, it looks like the episode may be one of the season's finest hours.

Watch the new promo for the season six finale, titled "Life Sentence," below:

This episode had good parts and others that should've been given more thought.

The start was good with the multiple locations showing the characters with their loved ones trying to have a nice evening until the action kicked in. I do have to wonder what is gonna happen to Anatoly, he's been against Oliver and now he's back in some good way with him telling him what Diaz is gonna do. I am surprised of how much he has always avoided justice.

I thought the team watching from the Helix HQ as their bunker/Arrow cave 2 was burned was a nice scene.

Dinah's usage of her canary cry was as well. Seeing finally everyone putting it what happened behind them was welcome. Shouldn't have even took place but at least Rene nor Curtis or Dinah or Oliver held more bad blood.

What I didn't like was why the writers thought now was the best moment to make Oliver have yet another bump on the road this close in the finale with Felicity. Being this long with him she should know that he always knows best about who goes out to the field and who should stay behind, not a fan of how now they decided to make them start to have a discussion about this or why Diggle began to side with her. Guggenheim & Mericle have always wanted to picture Oliver as the wrong with in front of Felicity.

Diaz was all over the place here. What was the point of dedicating an entire episode of him getting the coveted seat in The Quadrant among it's members if now he's gonna just be killing one member at the time with a knife with every chance he gets? It even takes place in front of other members and they just let it happen.

I also wished the show for the last 3 years since they introduced Curtis could let the guy win a fight. They've taken many liberties over the years with characters but their take on Mr. Terrific is the most unfulfilled of all. He's a badass and on part with what Oliver can do in the comics, they don't let him do as much amazing things with his T-Spheres like Oliver does with his arrows. I don't know if I wanna bet that the new showrunner will bother to make him start to resemble his comic book counter part.

The part of Oliver getting Felicity out from the gas looked good with that.

Lack of Quentin and Black Siren was weird, some screentime to show their wherebouts wouldn't have hurt.

So by going to the same FBI agent from the premiere now this is how Oliver is going to catch Diaz. But the FBI agent is really going to turn the blind eye and not do nothing about the big org. that is The Quadrant just to get Oliver confess he is the Green Arrow? Not so professional.

Finale looks okay, I think what will determine it's substance is how they decide to send off Paul Blackthorne's character. I will miss Quentin Lance. And Sara is coming too just for a cameo likely. Anything but a bittersweet funeral please, we had enough with Laurel's.

@NinnesMBC - I completely skipped Season 1 of Supergirl...is the part of Krypton she's talking about Kandor?

And I wish they'd just make Caitlyn Killer Frost again. I feel like they did this whole thing because they didnt have anything else better to do with her story and needed her to do something.

@Himura - Likely it is Kandor, I believe it is part of her story and Superman’s as well that Kandor managed to live while Argo City ended up in Brainiac’s possession (not addressed yet in the show but quite highly possible) and I also hope Killer Frost is back soon. This has made Caitlin grow too since she hasn’t sunked into depression like before when something bad happened to her, she has stepped up. S3 was about escaping from turning into KF to the point she wanted to get rid of her (and then KF wanted the same with her) and S4 has been about co-existing and dealing with the fact that none are going anywhere so they are “rommies” but now this drive that Cait has is leading her to become her own KF and I think in S5 she will fully embarace it. Maybe even come to love and enjoy it like Barry does being Flash and like others do with their powers.

This is still the stupidest villian plot this show had to offer...Diaz is a street level thug with anger issues but somehow he weasels his way into the proclaimed "most powerful crime organisation of the country" and kills of 3 out of 4 head members and everyone else is scared of him? what the hell?

he is nothing special...he is as generic as they come and nobody is capable of resisting him because he kills some pepople with a knife or his bare hands? yeah sure...powerful crime-lords...wow...
