While we'll have to wait until Monday for an episode description and photos, the DC Universe has released the promo for next week's installment of Doom Patrol, offering a quick look at what's to come as it previews scenes between Robotman (Brendan Fraser) and Cyborg (Joivan Wade) and The Chief (Timothy Dalton) and Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero).

There's also a brief preview of a costumed superhero team, with a leader that looks a lot like Mento?

DOOM PATROL reimagines one of DC’s most beloved groups of Super Heroes: Robotman aka Cliff Steele (BRENDAN FRASER), Negative Man aka Larry Trainor (MATT BOMER), Elasti-Woman aka Rita Farr (APRIL BOWLBY) and Crazy Jane (DIANE GUERRERO), led by modern-day mad scientist Niles Caulder aka The Chief (TIMOTHY DALTON). Each member of the Doom Patrol suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities, but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found their purpose through The Chief, coming together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence. Following the mysterious disappearance of The Chief these reluctant heroes will find themselves in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg (JOIVAN WADE), who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of superpowered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them.

Doom Patrol features:
Timothy Dalton as Niles Caulder/The Chief
Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele/Robotman
Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor/Negative Man
April Bowlby as Rita Farr/
Elasti-Woman
Joivan Wade as Victor Stone/Cyborg
Diane Guerrero as Kay Challis/Crazy Jane
Phil Morris as Silas Stone
Alan Tudyk as Eric Morden/Mr. Nobody

Doom Patrol returns with a brand new episode on March 22

This was a really weird, out there episode. Don't think i liked it as much as the other DP episodes.

Was great to have Chief and Nobody back though, and love that oracle unicorn!

This was for me the zaniest episode so far, a little slow at times but it picked up.

Cliff and Rita struggled here by trying to foster parental figures, in Rita's case while it lasted because the boy that was The Un-Written Book never returned while Cliff ended up stuck with Jane's Hammerhead personality. (I think it was her because of all of that swearing)

Mr. Nobody and Caulder team up was unexpected but given the situation it seemed to be the only way to help the Patrol win this one. Nobody is funny as always.

His intro here was zany: the screen freezing as Robotman realized he was inside the snowball and then taking you to his dimension where he is in his full form.

I take it that he basically manipulated time and space, aka the timeline, to make Jane's Doctor Harrison personality to prepare with anticipation and lead up all the way to the present the origin of the Re-Creator. (Basically what The Flash did too in it's 100th episode) Only Nobody can do such thing in this show so it's okay.

I knew the pug was gonna turn out to be key to all this, funniest moment how it was the Re-Written Book. XD

I also always crack up when Cliff says "what the frack", maybe it is just Brendan Fraser's voice, anything he says would come off as funny with swearing or not.

The De-Creator's power was haxed, blinking away even objects.

I guess that there was no longer any need to sew back the priest's hand with the Anti-God gone.

I hope Kipling returns one day, it's a cool character.

Nobody can go from funny to straight evil at how he didn't let The Chief to say goodbye and played Cyborg to blow up his own arm.

Next episode looks interesting too.

@NinnesMBC - And also, The Chief is right about why Larry's "creature" said torture in the tape, because Larry just keeps hating on himself.

TBH seeing how it was Larry's negative powers that allowed them to escape from the donkey pocket dimension booby trap then it can also be the key to go to Nobody's dimension and rescue The Chief, but that could only happen once he stops beating himself up and masters his power.

In terms of live-action, this TV show seems like the most interesting thing involving a DC property in ages. I'm tired of feeling constantly let down by shows and films bearing the DC brand.

Cyborg's look grew on me really. It's hardly as jarring as Justice Leagues Cyborg
