There are only two episodes to go before DC's Legends of Tomorrow heads off on an extended winter hiatus, but these last two hours look to be some of the series' biggest and wildest episodes yet.

First off, next week's installment will see Rory (Dominic Purcell) and Ava (Jes Macallan) butt heads, which will result in Sara (Caity Lotz) doing her best to broker a temporary peace, but her plans are interrupted when the team catches wind of a potential serial killing doll. Meanwhile, the rest of the hour will delve deeper into John Constantine's (Matt Ryan) past, but his journey could have devastating consequences for everyone aboard the Waverider.

"Hell No, Dolly!" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)

RIPPLE EFFECT - With Rory (Dominic Purcell) and Ava (Jes Macallan) at odds, Sara (Caity Lotz) tries to come up with a way for them to get along, but all is put on hold when a new magical creature attacks the Legends. Constantine (Matt Ryan) is forced to confront his tragic past but it could have devastating consequences for the rest of the team. Meanwhile, Mona (Ramona Young) has a crush on someone she works with and gets some advice from Nate (Nick Zano). Brandon Routh, Tala Ashe, Maisie Richardson- Sellers also star. April Mullen directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & Morgan Faust wrote the episode (#407). Original airdate 12/3/2018.

After defeating the demon Mallus by cuddling him to death with a giant stuffed animal named Beebo, the Legends are ready to ease off the gas. Sara and her team join Ava Sharpe and the Time Bureau to help clean up the last few remaining anachronisms. The job seems straightforward enough until Constantine arrives to inform them that, in solving one major problem, they have created another, much larger one. When the Legends let time crumble in order to release and defeat Mallus, the barrier between worlds softened. History is now infected with "Fugitives" - magical creatures from myths, fairytales, and legends. Having been expelled throughout time by people like Constantine, these Fugitives are now returning to our world in droves and making a real mess of things. As the Time Bureau is distrustful of and ill-equipped to deal with magic, the Legends must team up with everyone's favorite demonologist to set history back on track.

Legends Of Tomorrow features:
Brandon Routh as Dr. Ray Palmer/The Atom
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary
Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave

Well, I certainly didn't expect seeing Biff Tannen sing a minotaur to sleep with a James Taylor song to be the funny highlight of the week so far.

(Can Thomas F. Wilson sing like that? If so, MAN he's good.)

I enjoy the Legends a lot, but they don’t utilize their powers enough

The episode was amusing and served mostly to show just how much Nate has come since he became a Legend in S2 to get where he is now as Ava's kinda 2nd man in charge at the Bureau and to make him bond more with his father Hank. It felt lacking in the area of picking up from last week about Hank's myterious phone call with whoever he wants to "sell" the Fugitives for "Project Hades". I think they did this just to later make it pay off when the Heywoods have to clash once all the skeletons come out from the closet about what his dad has been keeping in secret.

Is this was really Nate's farewell from the team as he returns to the present to work at the Bureau then that means he and Charlie won't develop a bond, oh well.

The opening with Sara spoiling Ava at work for her b-day and Hank listing up all the budget that the Legends spend (maybe a meta thing from the writers) by working with the Bureau as he got to the Waverider was fun, specially finding Constantine doing yoga naked at the library.

I will admit that some of points Nate's dad made has merit like how basically Gideon could do everything and the number of Legends is not needed, if Gideon actually had a body of course. With that said I kinda prefered the old holographic, ethereal-looking Gideon from past Seasons that Eobard & Barry designed in The Flash and is at the time vault. Maybe they'll eventually make her fully in the flesh but still as an AI with the actress? Not sure yet how to feel about that.

Sara explaining to Hank that they divide in groups to do things also seemed like a meta reference of the show because a lot of time some characters just don't end up joining in everything. Mick for example & especially Zari who hasn't done much since the 2nd episode in Salem when she almost lost her totem. I hope they can fix that in the show.

Mick bonding with Hemingway as authors had potential for humor but it lasted little. TBH I found Hemingway and his bravado to hunting down monster more annoying than Mona this week.

I thought they were going to make another subversion like last week and reveal the minotaur wasn't the monster but the labyrinth it was itself was, but nope. In any case the minotaur unlike previous week was the weakest part of the episode for me compared to previous Fugitives. At least it made Nate use his powers for the first time (?) in the Season in the fight. But damn can Hank's actor sing well.

Subplot with Mona making Ava and Nora bond over while being trapped in her cell suprisingly worked because I can see Nora potentially becoming a warden in that magical wing to back up Mona's caretaking job with the Fugitives. She got lucky that she brought Ava's b-day cake inside.

And I'm pretty sure Ray didn't even wrote anything in that letter but just got inside the envelope to pay Nora a visit. Just when I thought that he also ended up lost in the plot like Mick and Zari so again, they need to find a way to make all of them do stuff involved in the plot like they've been doing in Supergirl, Flash and Arrow.

So that was Nate's "later" with the Legends and in peace knowing Charlie looks like Amaya. I hope next week Constantine finally spills the beans of the big bad.

Considering how the show has become the Sara + Ava Romance Story, Hank is pretty right about not needing that big a team. Ray has done nothing all season, Charlie has been pretty much imprisoned for most of it, Zari does nothing, and Heat Wave just drinks and passes out (which is in character, but he at least contributed to the team in past seasons).

Legends is easily the weakest show of this season by far. Constantine is the ONLY saving grace, and if he wasn't part of it, it'd be the worst season of any Arrowverse show yet. Yes, even worse than seasons 3 & 4 of Arrow and the last two seasons of Flash.
