The CW has released new plot synopses for new episodes, for the week of November 20th - the last week before the four-part "Crisis on Earth-X" crossover event - and they look to set up a number of things before all of your DC TV favorites head to Central City to celebrate Barry and Iris' nuptials.

Both Supergirl and The Flash will explore their villains as Samantha (Odette Annable) reaches out to her estranged mother for answers about her recurring dreams and newfound abilities. Meanwhile, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will finally come face-to-face with the DeVoe (Neil Sandilands), a.k.a. The Thinker, and will learn a lot more about the villain's origin as well as his true intentions.

Then, on Legends of Tomorrow, Sara (Caity Lotz) gets knocked out of commission at the worst possible time as the Legends stumble into the Vietnam War and discover a time-displaced Gorilla Grodd, who is causing all kinds of trouble. And, finally, on Arrow, Black Siren strikes again, which ruins Oliver and Felicity's Thanksgiving.

I don't think anyone on Legends has faced Grodd before, so it'll be curious to see if they act like he's old news. Also, was he not transported back to Earth 2 after his failed invasion? If so, that's some SERIOUS time misplacement if he can transcend other earths too. Or the writers just forgot.

Flash, Supergirl and Legends sound exciting. I still think Arrow is keeping some stuff too close to itself, we'll see.

Hey guys, it's creepy time!

I'll be entirely honest, I used to dislike (not hate, mind you) Iris, because she can be really entitled and bossy, and the "I keep changing my mind every 5 minutes" she and Barry went through a gazillion times really didn't help the character. But since I saw her in that white dress last week… She was always beautiful, but now that her character is more… light, in tone, even though she's in charge and gives a bit of shit to Barry, I like her character a lot more and find her even more attractive.

Which brings us to Gypsy. My God that girl would make a perfect CW Zatanna (not that I want to see Z on the CW, ever). She's gorgeous as well, even more so than Iris, to me at least. I find her relationship with Cisco completely unbelievable and ridiculously written, but that's another issue. It's too bad her powers and Cisco's are redundant because she would make a nice permanent addition to the team. I don't like Cisco as Vibe. I think Vibe is lame, sue me.

And finally Caitlin, who's so kind and adorable and friendly and sweet that I see her as beautiful as the other 2. Plus that dual personality where she can become snobby and bitchy and ruthless is super hot ( wow, who hacked my account and wrote that?). She might be my favorite character on the show and I really expect great things from next week's episode. Her redemption arc in Justice League of America (Rebirth) where she saves the Justice League and jumps from the Suicide Squad to the League to do some good was nice too.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm watching The Flash for the female characters way more than the average… everything else. Does that make me a creep or is The Flash team just better at making interesting female characters? Because Arrow sure isn't. Thea and first Canary and Cupid and Felicity? Please shoot me now. With a poison arrow.
