While the Reign (Odette Annable) storyline has been moving relatively slowly for the first half of the season, it looks like things might really start to pick up this Monday because in just two weeks, the supervillainess will be issuing a challenge to the protector of National City: Supergirl (Melissa Benoist)! Meanwhile, it also sounds like Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) and Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath) might find themselves dealing with some complicated feelings right before Christmas.

Then, on The Flash, Team Flash finds themselves in a very difficult situation when The Thinker (Neil Sandilands) kidnaps Barry (Grant Gustin) and Amunet (Katie Sackhoff) returns to capture Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). With time running out, Iris West-Allen is forced to choose between saving her best friend and saving her husband before it's too late.

At first glance, Legends of Tomorrow seems to have the lightest fall finale this year, but judging by the description, it sounds like those rumors about the team losing a member in the "Crisis on Earth-X" crossover may have come to fruition, leaving everyone in a vulnerable state, especially Jax (Franz Drameh).

Finally, on Arrow, Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) gets kidnapped by his daughter's Earth-2 doppelgänger, Black Siren (Katie Cassidy), and her new partner, Cayden James (Michael Emerson), who demand a weapon of mass destruction from Team Arrow in exchange for his safe return.

SUPERGIRL

"Reign" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

REIGN CHALLENGES SUPERGIRL - Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) investigates a mysterious symbol popping up all over National City, tracing its origins back to an ancient prophecy and the mark of the World Killer, Reign (Odetee Annable). Meanwhile, the tension between Lena (Katie McGrath) and Morgan Edge (guest star Adrian Pasdar) continues to build, causing James (Mehcad Brooks) to step in and offer up some protection, and possibly igniting a spark in the process. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Paula Yoo & Caitlin Parrish (#309). Original airdate 12/4/17.

THE FLASH

"Don't Run" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

KATEE SACKHOFF RETURNS AS AMUNET - Amunet (guest star Katie Sackhoff) kidnaps Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and puts meta-dampener handcuffs on her to keep her from turning into Killer Frost. Amunet tells Caitlin she needs her to perform a tricky medical task and if Caitlin fails, Amunet will kill her. Meanwhile, The Thinker (guest star Neil Sandilands) traps The Flash (Grant Gustin) in a speedster-proof prison. With the clock ticking, The Team doesn't have the time or resources to track both Caitlin and Barry so Iris (Candice Patton) is forced to choose who to save. Stefan Pleszczynski directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Judalina Neira (#409). Original airdate 12/5/2017.

DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

"Beebo the God of War" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

FOLLOW YOUR HEART - Rattled by recent events, the Legends dive into work which finds them investigating an Anachronism in a Viking settlement in the New World. The Legends realize that the Norsemen are worshipping an artifact as their god and are surprised by the artifact's origin. For the first time, Sara (Caity Lotz) is worried that they might need back up when Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) shows up. Meanwhile, Jax (Franz Drameh) finds a loophole that could potentially change history, but it is a risk he is willing to take. Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Maisie Richadson-Sellers and Dominic Purcell also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & James Eagan (#309). Am I crazy to say I'm more excited to watch the tv show's Flash over a big screen solo version? I don't know what it is, but Elongated Man has really made me like the Flash again.

If WB was smart they'd hurry up and get to work on a live action Plastic Man movie. Seeing Mr. O'Brian on film would be a blast and have Jake Johnson playing would be perfect for the part.

What's that mask about? Why? And who made it? That Kryptonian cult?

Only Arrow sounds a bit normal and not so hyped-ish. Something big should happen between Lance and Black Siren to up the stakes I think.

Looking forward to the others.

I have to say, that mask has convinced me that she would be an AWESOME Catwoman. And not the modern ugly pale-white Catwoman, but the more classier and classic looks.

Holy crap-- how did it take me THIS long to notice that Reign's emblem is a screaming skull head? It's rendered at such a weird angle that it just looked like a whole bunch of squiggles when I first saw it.

Well, okay. At least now that logo makes SENSE to me. (Though I, ah, wonder if that's supposed to be a Kryptonian glyph that just HAPPENS TO RESEMBLE a screaming skull head, or if the screaming skull face is intentional in-story. Kinda hope it's the latter, just for the sake of my sanity.)

@TheFox - I thought it looked like a skull. I didn't realize it was actually a skull! lol.

Aside from Elongated Man, the Flash really went down the drain. They nerfed him so bad it’s hard to watch. He’s barely faster than usain bolt now... And why is everything about Iris now ? Even this synopsis is focused on Iris. It’s like Barry has become a secondary character in his own show. And let’s not talk about the laughable council of Wells costumes... I like the idea, but the execution was sub-par at best.

@teragon - "And why is everything about Iris now ? "

Yeah, what's that all about? I like her, but this is ridiculous.
