After some big teases, Doomsday has finally arrived, and it sounds like next week's installment of Superman & Lois will finally see one of the Man of Steel's (Tyler Hoechlin) greatest foes make himself known to the Kent family and all of Smallville, which should make the next episode absolute must-see television!

Then, on Legends of Tomorrow, Sara (Caity Lotz) ends up at a bar for time-travelers, where she quickly discovers that the odds of winning may not be as great as she envisioned. Plus, on Batwoman, loyalties are tested and motives come into question as Ryan (Javicia Leslie) races against the clock to once again save the city and those closest to her.

Meanwhile, after that bombshell reveal at the end of episode four, the fifth chapter of Peacemaker will see the team continue their mission and presumably get to the bottom of what the butterflies are all about.

General Lane (Dylan Walsh) as Clark's (Tyler Hoechlin) visions become worse during heated arguments with both Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) and Jordan (Alex Garfin). Lastly, Natalie (Tayler Buck) learns that her father (Wole Parks) didn't follow through on a promise he made to her. Inde Navarrette and Sofia Hasmik also star. The episode was directed by Gregory Smith and written by Katie Aldrin & Juliana James (#203). Original airdate 1/25/2022.

"The Fixed Point" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, V) (HDTV)

DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE - The Legends are tired of being chased by an evil A.I. and her robo-soliders, so Sara (Caity Lotz) decides to create an aberration that will allow the team to take back the Evil Waverider. However, the Legends find themselves in a Bar for time-travelers, and quickly learn that this "fixed point" is popular with time-travelers, leaving Sara questioning her odds at winning. With Behrad (Shayan Sobhian) and Astra (Olivia Swann) growing closer, Zari (Tala Ashe) and Spooner (Lisseth Chavez) are forced to awkwardly interact with each other as the rest of the Legends are paired up on the mission. Meanwhile, Ava (Jes Macallan) hears Gwyn's (Matt Ryan) plan to save his boyfriend, and Ava is forced to remind him of the consequences in he succeeds. Nick Zano, Adam Tsekhman and Amy Pemberton also star. Maisie Richardson-Sellers directed the episode written by Matthew Maala & Paiman Kalayeh (710). Original airdate 1/26/2022.

"Toxic" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)

THE TIES THAT BIND - Batwoman's (Javicia Leslie) hands are full as she juggles Jada's (Robin Givens) demands, Mary's (Nicole Kang) ever-increasing power and a new romantic entanglement. Loyalties are tested and motives come into question as Batwoman races against the clock to once again save the city and those closest to her. Also starring Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Nick Creegan and Victoria Cartagena and guest starring Bridget Regan. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Caroline Dries and Jerry Shandy (#310). Original airdate 1/26/2022. "Zero to Sixty" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG) (HDTV)

LEARN TO WALK BEFORE YOU CAN RUN - Naomi (Kaci Walfall) gets guidance from Dee (Alexander Wraith) as she learns to harness her powers, all while juggling her everyday life as a teenager finishing her college application. And as Naomi's obsession with uncovering answers has her and her friends engaging in dangerous behavior, Zumbado (Cranston Johnson) seeks out the help of an old friend to help further his plans. Also starring Mary-Charles Jones, Barry Watson, Mouzam Makkar, Daniel Puig, Camila Moreno, Will Meyers, Aidan Gemme and guest starring Stephanie March. Damn doomsday already? I really have to get back to watching Superman and Lois. It’s really a good show I don’t know why or how I fell off.

Peacemaker episode this week was… fine. I liked the previous 3 better though vigilante remains a standout and kinda carried this episode. Cena was great in the flashback scene

Tal Ro is great, got to wonder what kind of role he will take on. Will they go the redemption route with him or make him a bit of a wild card.

Naomi was okay, not as good as the pilot, did notice an issue with the characters, they are so focused on the mystery that a majority of the characters have little to no personality outside of what the show spells out for you (she likes comics, he likes aliens etc) it's something that can be fixed easily later on but really with the other shows we had a sense of who characters were and their personalities within the first episode

Tal-Rho continues being an MVP, but considering how full speed the show is going I hope he spends more time being an antagonist and doesn't just faceturn at the end of this arc to help fight Doomsday. And if (Ugh, let's be real: when) he does I hope it isn't rainbows and puppies and he goes back to being a thorn in everyone's side.

Legends is going Full Parody, which while I found it funny how ruthless they were at mocking reality television it's also pretty clear the writers have run out of ideas.

I enjoyed Namoi but ... well, nothing really stood out for me this episode. I agree with everyone else about the mystery and characterizations and such but only after it's mentioned, not because I was thinking it myself at the time. Episode just kind of drifted for me.

Superman & Lois:

I liked how Superman & Lois handled a lot of storylines this week very easily. And even if it was short on Jonathan's side it established that he's gonna pay close attention to what that teammate is consuming in order to be the team's new star player. It likely will tie up with the black market of X-Kryptonite that Anderson let Superman know about.

Natalie had an easier time in the episode compared to her dad who still struggles with seeing Lois as his Earth's version of the woman he married. This was why he told her in the S1 finale he couldn't stay too much around but for Natalie he's putting in the effort and to help solve the issue in the mines.

Kyle and Lara were in synch in this episode, while it looks too good to be true it'd be nice if she does go to become the new mayor.

If it wasn't because of the 3 month time jump one would think that Chrissy was being all of a sudden too confrontational with Lois at job but it actually has been that much time since S1 but it feels natural that she questions her about her journalistic integrity in cases like how her sister was involved with that messed up suicide cult. It is starting to become clear neither Lois nor Sam mentioned much about their family in S1.

Tag Harris confirmed of being in the SoA team (Supermen of America) was long coming but now I would like to know the names of the other two. It's obvious by the events from S1 that Tag still has some kryptonian powers but I'm not so sure about the other two.

The scenes between Jordan, Clark and Tal-Rho at his Fortress with Lara were good, Jordan was tbh the MVP. He's grown a lot.

And it sucks half the fandom deduced what happened with Sarah at camp. Many were hoping the writing of the show would avoid that troupe or predictable scenario but yikes. At the moment I'm disappointed in her but I hope in the upcoming episodes she apologizes and things can work out between them.

Naomi:

This episode was a lot better and picked up in most ways.

I enjoy Dee's interactions with Naomi, more scenes with them will help the story move further. And I enjoyed seeing how she was in this episode a lot more vulnerable and she struggled to deal with the truth of being an alien just like he was.

Good scene between Annabelle and Naomi too.

Zumbado's quite strong if with just one blow from his breath he was able to knock down Naomi.

The ending already is setting up how complicated things are going to with the army pressuring Greg to uncover the existence of the aliens among them & how he and his wife obviously know from where and all of the circumstances behind Naomi's adoption. It entangles them as well with Zumbado and his agenda. It's a nice conflict.

Batwoman:

Seems that Diggle's a little lost and doesn't have the will power to open up the box with the power ring in it. Hmm.

Gonna catch up with Peacemaker now, fun show with a cool intro.

@NinnesMBC - I just hope they dont go full Snyder with Jordan, because they are giving that keep A LOT of reasons to become...a problem.

@TheHumanSpider2 - I doubt it a lot, this was a harsh emotional hit that hurts but he's got his parents and brother to help him. And I am pretty sure the creative people behind the show know not to make any of the super sons like Snyder's take on Superman in BvS at least.

BTW, there's going to be a comic book crossover between Batwoman, Superman & Lois, the Legends, Flash and Stargirl included. The first 5 issues will be dedicated to each show and the 6th final one will where they apparently crossover with each other. And they are going to be canon as well.

They will be written by writers from each show too.

The crossover is supposed to be called "Earth Prime".

EARTH-PRIME #1 (The CW’s Batwoman)

Ryan Wilder, aka Batwoman, makes her costumed comic book debut in a story co-written by series writers Natalie Abrams and Kelley Larson, plus series cast member Camrus Johnson (Luke Fox/Batwing), with art by Clayton Henry.

Ever since the tech that created many of Batman’s rogues hit the streets, Ryan Wilder has been running herself ragged trying to contain the new villains popping up around Gotham City. But when Clayface’s (making his CW debut) mud binds itself to a local high schooler, Batwoman will need help from an unexpected source to contain this muddy foe! Also, follow how Luke Fox balances his life as a super hero and a boyfriend!

EARTH-PRIME #2 (The CW’s Superman & Lois)

Superman & Lois series writers Adam Mallinger, Jai Jamison and Andrew Wong join DC fan-favorite artists Tom Grummett and Norm Rapmund in a story spotlighting Clark Kent and Lois Lane’s first anniversary. Trying to celebrate their marital bliss is never easy when you’re a super hero husband and news reporter wife; especially when world-saving and creating hard-hitting stories continue to spoil your plans! Plus, the true origins of the evil Superman from John Henry Irons’ world are finally revealed!

Is there really anyone left in batwoman who is not of color, or from the lgtb community, or have they all been deleted? It reminds me of the new version of 4,400
