THE FALCON & THE WINTER SOLDIER Character Poster Spotlights Wyatt Russell's New Captain America

He was absent from the first batch of The Falcon & The Winter Soldier character posters, but after featuring prominently in the latest episode, this new banner spotlights Wyatt Russell as Captain America.

After being introduced right at the end of the first episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, John Walker (Wyatt Russell) played a much bigger role in this past Friday's "The Star Spangled Man," and the MCU's new Captain America has now been given a character poster of his own.

Marvel kept Walker out of the initial batch of banners featuring Sam (Anthony Mackie), Bucky (Sebastian Stan), Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp) and Zemo (Daniel Brühl) that debuted earlier this month, possibly in an effort to maintain some level of secrecy around the character (even though leaked trading card images had already given us a proper look at his costume by that point).

Friday's episode gave us a first look at Walker in action as he (briefly) teamed up with Sam and Bucky to take on the Flag Smashers. The former marine seems like he genuinely wants to be a force for good and live up to Rogers' legacy, but something tells us a darker side of his personality is going to emerge as the story progresses.

How will the new Cap react to Sam and Bucky paying Zemo a little visit? Tune in next Friday to find out.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier sees the titular heroes teaming up on a global adventure that tests their abilities...and their patience. Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer.

@OmegaDaGrodd - that's not the thin blue line flag... and it doesn't look like a variant either.
