New LUKE CAGE Season 2 Images Offer A First Look At The Villainous Bushmaster And More

A new batch of images have surfaced online today and they offer up a first look at the villainous (and bulletproof) Bushmaster, as well as awesome shots of Misty Knight's new arm, Danny Rand, and more.

Season two of Luke Cage arrives on Netflix this June but the show is currently shrouded in secrecy. As a result, what comes next for the Hero for Hire isn't clear but it's easy to imagine the online streaming service giving this show a big push once Lost in Space is released next week. In the meantime, some brand new images have popped up online this evening courtesy of Empire spinoff magazine Pilot.

These aren't the greatest quality shots (they've seemingly been taken with a camera as opposed to the scans
we're used to) but they still reveal plenty about what's to come, offering a first look at the villainous Bushmaster, a team-up between Luke and Danny Rand/Iron Fist, and much more besides.

So, to check these out, all you need to do is click on either one of the buttons below. We'll hopefully have more for you on Luke Cage season two soon but feel free to let us know your thoughts on theories on these shots in the comments section down below. Are you excited for the show's debut?

Thanks to Danny Rand, Misty Knight has a new arm in Luke Cage season two and despite the fact it's pretty "sci-fi" for these grounded shows, it makes sense and arguably looks seriously cool.

There was no sign of Claire Temple in Jessica Jones season two but her romance with Luke is clearly still going strong here as the two look extremely comfortable with each other in this shot.

Heroes for Hire! We have no idea if Danny and Luke will actually form a team of sorts in this series but the signs are definitely pointing to a partnership happening somewhere down the line.

Shades comforts Mariah in this shot as their rise to power continues and he looks to manipulate her for his own means. How things will pan out between this volatile duo obviously remains to be seen.

This cool behind the scenes shot shows Mike Colter ready for action as Luke Cage outside what may be a new take on Pop's Barber Shop. However, there's a chance he won't want to ever return there!

That's Mustafa Shakir as the villainous Bushmaster. We don't know a whole lot about his role in the Marvel series but it's been confirmed that he'll also be bulletproof so Luke has some competition.

It's been said that Luke will get some tips from Danny Rand about his fighting style and it looks like the hero is busting out some awesome moves here as he takes on pretty formidable looking goons.
