In today's episode of Ms. Marvel, titled "Destined," Kamala Khan was faced with a huge dilemma. There were several moments throughout that saw the teenager seemingly contemplate telling her family that she has superpowers, only to ultimately decide that now wasn't the right time to confide in them.
We can't help but wonder if that's a decision she'll come to regret, but Kamala got to take a break from the drama by attending her brother's wedding.
Well, until the evil Djinn showed up! Ms. Marvel has finally shed some light on the source of the title hero's powers and revealed that these beings from another dimension want that bangle so they can return home. That could have devastating consequences for Earth, though, and while they're now in Damage Control's custody, that probably won't last.
While it's not highlighted here, the opening of today's episode also featured a nod to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings by including the Ten Rings' logo in a tomb the ClanDestines were searching. Of course, that wasn't the only Easter Egg to be found for MCU fans because Dr. Erik Selvig received a mention when talk of alternate realities first came up.
Ms. Marvel has done a great job offering a glimpse into a regular person's life in the MCU, and seeing Earth's Mightiest Heroes from Kamala's perspective has been a blast. Earlier this week, Marvel even launched an AvengerCon website for fans to explore, and you can take a look at that by clicking here.
