SHE-HULK: ATTORNEY AT LAW Director Kat Coiro Addresses Possibility Of The Series Getting A Season 2

Disney+ was on hand for the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour yesterday, and it was confirmed that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will stream on Thursdays instead of Wednesdays. That means it won't clash with Andor in September, of course, but before the show's first season arrives, we have comments on a possible second batch of episodes.

Director Kat Coiro helmed the first, second, third, fourth, eighth, and ninth episodes of the show's nine-episode debut season, and sounds keen to continue telling stories with this sensational superhero.

Asked whether She-Hulk: Attorney at Law could join Loki in receiving a second season, she responded: "Only Kevin Feige can answer that question. There is definitely the possibility of having a second season. There's also the possibility of the character joining the other characters in the movies. I have no idea."

"Watching Bruce and Jen, She-Hulk and He-Hulk interact, you're definitely going to want to see more of their dynamic together," Coiro continued. "It's a really playful big-brother-little-sister dynamic that has a lot of depth to it, and people are definitely going to want to see more of that in the future."

Disney+ Day is next month, and it's then we anticipate receiving possible updates on second seasons for the likes of Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight. It will probably be too soon for news on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, but Coiro's comments suggest the door is left open for Jennifer Walters' MCU story to continue in any number of ways.

The likes of WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier have set the stage for movies like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Captain America: New World Order, but it would be a shame if that's primarily what these MCU TV shows are used for. In She-Hulk's case, following her adventures as a lawyer is a concept that feels perfectly suited to Disney+.

The series follows She-Hulk as the hero navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on August 18.

Is it too early to start up a #SixSeasonandaMovie campaign?

She-Hulk is the kind of show that could run a long time, since it operates sort of in parallel to the rest of the MCU. Like Agents of Shield was originally designed to, or a Damage Control series could. An opportunity to catch our breath between big events, get some insight into the way the world is reacting to the weirdness of the movies. Co-stars and cameos. And Jen (and Tatiana) are just so engaging that I could just watch her read old Perry Mason scripts and tune in every week.

I find it off that DD's new show will have 18 episodes, yet none of the Future episodes were announced to have the same. Also I'm worried because 6 episodes for these shows felt dragged out.. wtf will 18 bring 👀

@bobevanz - *future series bring back the damn edit button!

@bobevanz - what if they took it away so people go back to posting twice as many comments to correct mistakes 🤔

@bobevanz - I just copy my comment, fix the mistakes, post it again, and then delete my old comment. But yeah, bring back the edit button (if the bugs it caused are fixed)!

Also, 18 episodes is quite a lot indeed. I think the 13 episodes Netflix had already felt dragged out at some points, but who knows what Marvel has planned. No way they're gonna drop only episode a week for 18 weeks then though.

I'm not sure yet about a season 2, as the slate for the coming years is already full as it is. I can see her show up in Daredevil and the upcoming Avengers movies though.

Lol, no. Expensive CGI property that's reliant entirely on cameos? Not going to get a second season.
