The Screen Junkies gang are back with a new Honest Trailer, and this one takes aim at the first ever Marvel Cinematic Universe-set animated series, What If...?

The Disney+ show certainly had its share of fans and certain episodes were better than others, but it did prove to be one of the more divisive Marvel Studios projects overall (though critics would no doubt place Eternals higher on the list), and this trailer focuses on some of the frequent criticisms that have popped up.

It's not exactly a laugh-a-minute, but the Chandler from Friends gag is pretty funny.

"What If…? flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways. Coming to Disney+ in summer 2021, Marvel Studios’ first animated series focuses on different heroes from the MCU, featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their roles. The series is directed by Bryan Andrews; Ashley Bradley is head writer."

What did you guys think of the first season of Marvel's What If...? What do you hope to see from season 2? Drop us a comment down below.

Off topic: Inhumans just had its 3 year anniversary in an alternate universe. Can't help but wonder if it would've faired better than Eternals had it been made instead.

@JFerguson - for real man, way I see it, setting aside obvious big names like X-men daredevil etc, there have been properties adapted for tv that would have interested me more than Eternals and yes than Shang Chi:

Inhumans
Runaways
Cloak and Dagger

Eternals look so mundane.

@JFerguson - My understanding is that we can blame Ike Perlmutter who was trying to save LOTS of money (because he just isn't rich enough).

@JFerguson - personally know nothing about Eternals but I’d think Inhumans has more colorful character. Their powers are certainly more standout and unique.

Wasn’t really funny, some of the critiques were fair and valid though. Ultron didn’t streal vision the avengers stole ultron and made him vision.

@MyCoolYoung - critics don’t make series and movies successful it’s people who choose see it critics give movie bad score people with brain of there own will choose see it not let critic make that decision for them

Its not bad but its a very uneven show.

In 9 episodes they pretty much go every place on the quality spectrum possible
